Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Liftgate Body Side Wedge & Fastener

  2. Remove the fastener (1) retaining the wedge to the vehicle.
  3. Remove the wedge (2) from the vehicle. Note the wedge location and placement of the wedge seal.
