Power Sunroof Motor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Open the sunshade to the full open position. Remove the sunroof front trim cover. Refer to Sunroof Front Trim Cover Replacement .
1	Sunroof Motor Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure: Disconnect the electrical connector. Tighten: 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Sunroof Motor Procedure: Rock the motor back and forth to release it from the cables. Tip: When installing the motor spline into the gear, Do not twist the sunroof motor from side to side as it is aligned. If twisted, this may cause the cables to misalignment and the window panel will not close evenly on both side. After install motor verify sunroof track timing/synchronization. Refer to Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization . Verify operations of the sunroof window.

Procedure:
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten: 3 N.m (27 lb in)

Sunroof Motor
Procedure:
Rock the motor back and forth to release it from the cables.
Tip:
