Preliminary Procedures Remove the filler tube indicator. Clean away all dirt and debris from the transmission filler tube area. Position an appropriate container under the transmission to catch any lost fluid.
1	Transmission Fluid Filler Tube Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 12 N.m (111 lb in)
2	Transmission Fluid Filler Tube
3	Transmission Fluid Filler Tube Seal Procedure Lightly lubricate the filler tube and seal with clean transmission fluid to ease installation. Fill the transmission to the proper level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
