Torque Converter Installation: Installation

    WARNING: The torque converter weighs approximately 65 lbs. Personal injury may result if you lift the torque converter improperly.

    CAUTION: Make sure that the torque converter remains installed all the way into the pump, when bolting the transmission to the engine. Damage to the pump may occur if not installed correctly.
  1. Install the torque converter.
  2. Install the J 21366:  converter holding strap.
