Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution .
  1. Remove the power brake booster. Refer to Power Brake Booster Replacement .
  2. Remove the master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV)

  3. Remove the electronic brake and traction control module (2) and gasket (3) from the master cylinder. Refer to Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module Replacement .
  4. Remove the brake master cylinder (5).
