Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Remove the transmission oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement .
  3. Remove the power steering cooler. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Cooler Replacement .
  4. Remove the bolt and nut from the left hood spring.
  5. Remove the bolt and nut from the right hood spring.

  7. Remove the nut (1) from the condenser (2).
  8. Remove the compressor discharge hose assembly (3) from the condenser (2).

  10. Remove the evaporator tube nut (2) from the condenser (1).
  11. Remove the evaporator tube (3) from the condenser (1).
  12. Remove the bolts (2) from the condenser (3).

  14. Remove the condenser (3) from the vehicle.
