Circuit/System Testing

  1. Disconnect the BCM connector C7.
  2. Verify that a test lamp does not illuminate when connected from battery voltage to the liftglass latch release signal circuit terminal in the harness connector.
    • If the test lamp illuminates, test the signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the rear wiper motor module.
  3. If the liftglass latch release signal circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
