Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement - Auxiliary

Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement - Auxiliary

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Remove the retaining nut (2) and the auxiliary A/C evaporator tubes (3) from the auxiliary HVAC module. Refer to Evaporator Tube Replacement - Auxiliary .
1 Thermal Expansion Valve Bolt (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  16 N.m (12 lb ft)

2 Sealing Washer
Tip:  Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement .
