Expansion (Orifice) Tube Replacement (W/C69)

Preliminary Procedures Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1	Fitting, Orifice Tube NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in) Tip: It may be necessary to remove the auxiliary pressure line to separate the orifice tube. Loosen orifice tub fitting and separate the pressure line to access the orifice.
2	Seal, O-ring Tip: Remove and discard O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
3	Orifice Tube Assembly Tip: Use J 26549-E to remove orifice tube. See Special Tools .
