Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Preheat the sheet metal in order to melt the sealer and bond the molding into the joint. Sealer begins to flow at approximately 93°C (200°F).
  1. Use a heat gun in order to heat the cab in the joint area. Preheat the sheet metal to approximately 93°C (200°F).
  2. Install the molding.
  3. Use a roller to completely wet-out the adhesive bond.
  4. Install the luggage carrier, if equipped. Refer to Luggage Carrier Replacement (SUT) or Luggage Carrier Replacement (SUV) .
