Installation Procedure

  1. Align the liftgate applique to the liftgate.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

  2. Install the outer applique fasteners (1).
  3. Install the inner applique fasteners (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  4. Install the high mounted stop lamp. Refer to High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement (SUT) or High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement (SUV) .
  5. Close the liftgate.
