Console Replacement - Front Floor (Except Cadillac)

Console Replacement - Front Floor (Except Cadillac)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the 2 front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the right and left front floor console trim panels. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right (Cadillac)  or Front Floor Console Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right (Except Cadillac)  and Front Floor Console Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left (Cadillac)  or Front Floor Console Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left (Except Cadillac) .
  3. Remove the front floor console bezel. Refer to Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Cadillac)  or Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Except Cadillac) .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the console assembly.
1 Front Floor Console Assembly
Tip: 
  1. With the aid of an assistant, remove the console from the vehicle.
  2. When replacing the console assembly, transfer all the necessary components.
