Cylinder Head Removal - Left Side

  1. Remove the spark plugs from the cylinder head.
    2. IMPORTANT: The cylinder head bolts can NOT be used again. Install NEW cylinder head bolts during assembly.
  2. Remove the cylinder head bolts.
    3. NOTE: After removal, place the cylinder head on 2 wood blocks in order to prevent damage to the sealing surfaces.
  3. Remove the cylinder head.

  4. Remove the gasket.
  5. Discard the gasket.
  6. Discard the cylinder head bolts.
