Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Cleaning and Inspection

- Remove the seals (308) from the pipe.
- Remove the seals (308) from the covers.
- Clean the pipe (307), hose (311), and covers in solvent.
- Dry the pipe and covers with compressed air.
- Inspect the pipe and covers for damage or restrictions.
- Inspect the sealing surfaces for damage.
- Inspect the hose (311) for restrictions, cracking or wear.
The hose may be used again if it is not damaged.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use the engine coolant air bleed pipe and cover seals again. Upon installation of the pipe and covers, install NEW seals.
