Installation Procedure

  1. Install the body panel to the vehicle.
  2. Align the retaining clips with he openings in the body and gently press to fully seat the clips.

  3. Connect the 12 volt power supply connector.
  4. Install the inflator nozzle into the body panel opening.
  5. Install the body side panel tray.
  6. Install the lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Install the lift gate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .

  8. Connect the electrical connector to the door lock switch and install the CPA.
  9. Install the door lock switch into the body panel.
  10. Install the inflator switch to the inflator bezel.
  11. Install the inflator bezel to the body panel.
  12. Install the inflator nozzle retaining nut.
  13. Install the rear pillar trim panel.
