Removal Procedure

  1. Fold the rear seat No. 1 forward to access the seat belt bolt.
  2. Remove the seat belt to floor mounting bolt.
  3. Remove the vehicle jack and bracket, if necessary.
  4. Firmly grasp and gently pull the lock pillar to disengage the retaining clips.
  5. Feed the seat belt through the opening in the lock pillar trim panel.
  6. Remove the lock pillar trim panel from the vehicle.
  7. Inspect for broken or missing retaining clips and replace as necessary.
