Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lock pillar trim panel to the vehicle.
  2. Feed the seat belt through the opening in the lock pillar trim panel.
  3. Align the retaining clips with the openings in the body.
  4. Gently press to fully seat the retaining clips.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  6. Install the vehicle jack and bracket if necessary.
  7. Raise the jack after it is installed in the bracket to ensure that it is secure.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bracket to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

  8. Install the seat belt to floor mounting bolt.
  9. Fold the rear seat into the upright position.
