Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine oil cooler hoses from the radiator. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Pipe/Hose Quick Connect Fitting .
  2. Remove the engine oil cooler hoses from the fan shroud.
  3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Remove the engine protection shield bolts.
  5. Remove the engine shield.

  7. Remove the engine oil cooler hose bracket bolt (1).
  8. Remove the engine oil cooler hose adapter bolts (2).
  9. Remove the engine oil cooler hose assembly and gasket.

    Discard the gasket.

  10. Inspect the fittings, connectors and cooler hoses for damage or distortion.
