Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .

  3. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (6.0L (LQ4)) .
  4. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  5. Reposition the coolant air bleed hose clamp at the throttle body.
  6. Remove the coolant air bleed hose from the throttle body.

  8. Reposition the hose clamp at the pipe.
  9. Remove the coolant air bleed hose (1) from the pipe (2).
  10. Remove the coolant air bleed hose from the vehicle.
