Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition OFF, open the hood to disable the Auto-Stop function. Refer to Hybrid Modes of Operation Description .
  2. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool hood position parameter displays Open.
  3. Verify the following DTCs are not set: P0106, P0107, P0108, P0641, P0651, P2227, P2228, or P2229.
  4. Ignition ON, Engine OFF, determine the altitude for your area. Refer to Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure . Observe the MAP Sensor and BARO parameters. The readings should be within 5 kPa of each other and the Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure table.
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
