Circuit/System Verification

    NOTE:

    If other DTCs are set diagnose them first.

  1. Ignition switch in the Accessory position.
  2. Verify the scan tool K9 Body Control Module Ignition Accessory/Run parameter displays Active.
    • If the scan tool parameter displays Active 
  3. Ignition switch in the Run position.
  4. Verify the scan tool K9 Body Control Module Ignition Accessory/Run parameter displays Active.
    • If the scan tool parameter displays Active 
  5. Ignition ON.
  6. Using a scan tool, clear the K9 Body Control Module and Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly of all DTCs.
  7. Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down.
  8. Engine Running in Park position for 1 minute.
  9. Verify DTC P2537 is not set in the Transmission Control Module.
    • If DTC P2537 is set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If DTC P2537 is not set 
  10. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observe from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  11. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  12. All OK.
