Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement - Right Side

Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement - Right Side

Callout Component Name
CAUTION:

In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the inflatable restraint instrument panel module. Refer to Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temperature actuator.
1 Air Temperature Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
1.6 N.m (14 lb in)
2 Air Temperature Actuator
Procedure 
Re-calibrate the air temperature actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
NOTE:

Apply Dielectric Nyogel 760G grease to the electrical connector. Dispense grease on the connector to cover all holes in the connector.
