Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2012 GMC Yukon, 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2012 Cadillac Escalade. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

The hybrid powertrain control module must command the high voltage contactor relays closed in order for high voltage interlock circuit to be enabled. Fail will be displayed if any DTCs present at ignition ON prevent the hybrid powertrain control module from closing the high voltage contactor relays.

If the DTC set, Record and then clear the DTC information. Ignition OFF, wait 2 minutes. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool HPCMs battery energy control module HVIC Status and hybrid powertrain control module HVIC Status parameters. The parameters should both indicate a PASS condition.
