Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L) .

    IMPORTANT:

    Use the shim stock in order to protect the drive shaft.

  3. Use a chisel in order to cut and remove the power steering pump shaft seal.
