Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2012 GMC Yukon XL, 2012 GMC Yukon, 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2012 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the power brake booster outlet hose (1) to the vehicle.
- Connect the power brake booster outlet hose (1) to the power steering fluid reservoir (3).
- Connect the power brake booster outlet hose (1) to the power brake booster (2).
- Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
CAUTION:
The inlet and outlet hoses must not be twisted during installation. Do not bend or distort the inlet or outlet hoses to make installation easier. Failure to follow these procedures could result in component damage.
