Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement (1500 Series) , Front Brake Rotor Replacement (2500 Series) .
    4. Fig 1: Identifying Wheel Hub & Stud With J 43631

  4. Use the J 43631  ball joint remover to press the stud from the wheel bearing/hub.
