Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Axle Fill Plug

  2. Remove the fill plug (1).
    3. Fig 2: Locating Axle Drain Plug

  3. Remove the rear axle drain plug (1).
  4. Drain the lubricant into a suitable container.
