1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle
2 Verify the fault is present.
Does the system operate normally?
Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections Go to Step 3

  1. Connect a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON ignition, with engine OFF.
  3. Use scan tool to activate inflator switch.
Does the compressor turn on?
Go to Step 4  Go to Step 8 
4 Test the signal circuit of the air suspension inflator switch for an open, short to ground, short to voltage and high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing , Testing for Short to Ground , Testing for a Short to Voltage , Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections .
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 10  Go to Step 5 
5 Test the low reference circuit of the air suspension inflator switch for an open, short to ground, short to voltage and high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing , Testing for Short to Ground , Testing for a Short to Voltage , Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections .
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 10  Go to Step 6 
6 Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the air suspension inflator switch.
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 10  Go to Step 7 
7 Replace air suspension inflator switch. Refer to Inflator Air Switch Replacement (SUT)  or Inflator Air Switch Replacement (SUV) .
Did you complete the replacement?
Go to Step 10  -
8 Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the air suspension compressor assembly.
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 10  Go to Step 9 
9 Replace air suspension module. Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup and programming.
Did you complete the replacement?
Go to Step 10  -
10 Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
Did you correct the condition?
System OK Go to Step 3
