Conditions for Setting the DTC

DTC C0561 4B 

This diagnostics detects if one or more of the module learning steps was not performed or failed during component replacement (New ECU/reprogrammed ECU).

DTC C0561 54 

This diagnostics detects an over temperature condition with 1 of the 12 solenoids due to an extended ABS, traction control and the vehicle stability enhancement system event lasting more than 45 seconds.

DTC C0561 59 

This diagnostics detects if the ABS motor is continuously ON for greater than 60 seconds during the same ignition cycle due to; Pedal pumping, poor service bleed, or a hydraulic leak.

DTC C0561 71, 72, 74, and 75 

The EBCM receives an invalid serial data message/signal from another module which causes the EBCM to deactivate the antilock brake system, traction control and the vehicle stability enhancement system.
