Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP canister vent solenoid.
  2. Slide the EVAP canister vent solenoid onto the bracket until the retainer (1) engages the clip.

  4. Connect the EVAP canister vent solenoid quick connect fitting (1) to the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  6. Connect the solenoid vent filter (2) to the fill pocket with a new push pin (1).

  8. Install 2 tie straps (1) to hold the solenoid vent line to the fuel fill pipe hose.

  10. Connect the chassis wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the EVAP canister vent solenoid.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Install the spare tire and wheel assembly.
