Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (Non-HP2)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1 Surge Tank Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 (89 lb in)
2 Surge Tank Nut
Tighten 
10 (89 lb in)
3 Surge Tank

Procedure

  1. Remove the surge tank hoses from the surge tank.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
