Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Hummer H2. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Position the power steering gear inlet pipe/hose to the vehicle.
- Using a new O-ring seal, connect the power steering gear inlet pipe/hose to the power steering gear.
Tighten: Tighten the power steering gear inlet hose fitting to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Using a new O-ring seal, connect the power steering gear inlet pipe/hose to the brake booster.
Tighten: Tighten the power steering gear inlet hose fitting to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .

NOTE:
The inlet and outlet hoses must not be twisted during installation. Do not bend or distort the inlet or outlet hoses to make installation easier. Failure to follow these procedures could result in component damage.
