Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement - Left Side

CAUTION: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module. Preliminary Procedures Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Cadillac) , Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Except Cadillac) . Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temperature actuator.
1	Air Temperature Actuator Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 1.6 N.m (14 lb in)
2	Air Temperature Actuator Procedure Re-calibrate the air temperature actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration . NOTE: Apply Dielectric Nyogel 760G grease to the electrical connector. Dispense grease on the connector to cover all holes in the connector.

Preliminary Procedures

Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Cadillac) , Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Except Cadillac) .
Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temperature actuator.

Air Temperature Actuator Screw (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
1.6 N.m (14 lb in)

Procedure
Re-calibrate the air temperature actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .

NOTE:

Apply Dielectric Nyogel 760G grease to the electrical connector. Dispense grease on the connector to cover all holes in the connector.
