Installation Procedure

  1. Install the park brake cable to the vehicle.

  2. Install the park brake cable (1) to the bracket until the locking tabs are fully engaged.
  3. Connect the park brake cable eye (2) to the park brake actuator lever.
  4. Position the park brake cable to the cable guides on the vehicle frame.

  5. Install the left rear park brake cable to the frame bracket until the locking tabs are fully engaged.
  6. Connect the left rear park brake cable (1) from the intermediate park brake cable equalizer.
  7. Adjust the park brake. Refer to Parking Brake Adjustment (1500) , Parking Brake Adjustment (2500) .
