Installation Procedure

  1. Install the parking brake cable equalizer to the right rear parking brake cable.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Right Parking Brake Cable Connector

  2. Pull the parking brake equalizer forward and install the right parking brake cable connector (1) to the intermediate parking brake cable.
  3. Compress the locking tabs on the right parking brake cable conduit (2) and install the parking brake cable to the equalizer.

  4. Loosely install the parking brake equalizer adjuster nut (1).
  5. Adjust the parking brake. Refer to Parking Brake Adjustment (1500) , Parking Brake Adjustment (2500) .
