Expansion (Orifice) Tube Replacement (W/C69)

Preliminary Procedures Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Non-HP2) , Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (HP2) . Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1	Fitting, Orifice Tube CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 (80 lb in) It may be necessary to remove the auxiliary pressure line to separate the orifice tube. Loosen orifice tub fitting and separate the pressure line to access the orifice.
2	Seal, O-ring TIP: Remove and discard O-ring. Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement .
3	Orifice Tube Assembly TIP: Use J-26549-E orifice tube remover to remove orifice tube. Special Tools J-26549-E Orifice Tube Remover
