Component Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the seat belt switch.
- With the seat belt buckled, test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal A X1 and the low reference terminal B X1 (buckle side).
- If not the specified range, replace the seat belt switch.
- With the seat belt unbuckled, test for less than 2 ohms between the signal circuit terminal A X1 and the low reference terminal B X1.
- If greater than the specified range, replace the seat belt switch.
