Rear Wheel Opening Flare Replacement

1 Rear Wheel Opening Flare Assembly Retainer (Qty: 4)
2 Rear Wheel Opening Flare Assembly Screw (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2 N.m (18 lb in)
3 Rear Wheel Opening Flare Assembly
  1. The part and surface should be 21°C (70°F) prior to installation. The vehicle should remain 21°C (70°F) for one hour after assembly to allow adhesive to develop sufficient bond strength.
  2. Clean area where flare will be mounted. Use a suitable solvent, such as flash naphtha or a mix of 50 percent isopropyl alcohol and 50 percent water by volume.
  3. Warm body panel with a J-25070  Heat Gun to a minimum 21°C (70°F) prior to flare installation.
  4. Do not touch adhesive surface when tape is removed. Peel the tape liner once the flare has been installed and wet out.
