Front Fender Lower Rear Molding Replacement (Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid 2 Mode)

Front Fender Lower Rear Molding Replacement (Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid 2 Mode)

Callout Component Name
1 Front Fender Lower Rear Molding Assembly Screw (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2 N.m (18 lb in)
2 Front Fender Lower Rear Molding Assembly

Procedure

  1. When removing protective liners from adhesive tape, be careful not to touch tape with hands and do not allow tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion.
  2. Use a J-25070  Heat Gun or equivalent to remove the front fender lower rear molding.
  3. Clean all adhesive from the front fender using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean water.
  4. Wipe the surface dry with a clean lint-free towel prior to installing new front fender lower molding.
  5. Align the molding the front fender, secure the two wheelhouse liner screws.
  6. Peel adhesive tape protective liner from molding and secure the front fender lower rear molding.

Special Tools 
J-25070  Heat Gun
3 Adhesive Tape
TIP:  Peel the adhesive tape liner and wet out the rearward edge of the molding to the front fender lower panel.
