Installation Procedure

  1. Install the upper control arm.

  3. Install the upper control arm retaining bolt and nut to the axle bracket.

  5. Install the upper control arm retaining bolt and nut to the frame bracket.
  6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Do not tighten the nuts unless the suspension is at the curb height position.

  7. Tighten the upper control arm bolts to :
    • First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
    • Final Pass: plus 55 degrees
  8. Connect the ESC sensor, if equipped. Refer to Electronic Suspension Rear Position Sensor Replacement - Left Side , or Electronic Suspension Rear Position Sensor Replacement - Right Side .
  9. Lower the vehicle.
