Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling 
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove the rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement .
  5. Remove the axle shaft. Refer to Rear Axle Shaft Replacement .
  6. Remove the park brake shoe. Refer to Park Brake Shoe Replacement .

  8. Remove the actuator (2) and rubber boot (1).
