Installation Procedure

- Install the steering linkage shock absorber (2) to the vehicle.
- Install the steering linkage shock absorber (4) and nuts (1, 3).
- Install the steering linkage shock absorber nuts (1, 3) and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
- Install the engine shield, if equipped. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
NOTE:
Use new steering linkage shock absorber nuts.
