Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the oil pan skid plate, if equipped. Refer to Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement (1500 with RPO NZZ) , Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement (2500/3500 with RPO NZZ) .
  3. Fig 1: Vent Hose And Connector

  4. Remove the vent hose (1) from the frame connector (2).
  5. Remove the vent hose from the connector.
  6. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Remove the vent hose (1) from the connector (2) at the shock tower

  10. Remove the vent hose from the inner fender.
