Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the bearing with axle lubricant. Use the proper fluid. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .
    2. Fig 1: Clutch Shaft Pilot Bearing

  2. Install the clutch shaft pilot bearing using the J 33842 .
  3. Install the clutch shaft to the differential carrier assembly.
  4. Install the inner axle shaft and housing assembly. Refer to Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft and Inner Shaft Housing Replacement .
