Installation Procedure

- Install the vent hose connector (2). Apply a small amount of sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the threads.
Tighten
Tighten the vent connector to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Install the vent hose (1).
- Install the oil pan skid plate, if equipped. Refer to Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement (1500 with RPO NZZ) , Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement (2500/3500 with RPO NZZ) .
- Lower the vehicle.
