Component Testing

NOTE:

The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor must be between 10-32°C (50-90°F) for an accurate measurement.

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate fuel injector.
  2. Test for 11-14 Ω between the terminals of the fuel injector.
    • If not within the specified range, replace the fuel injector.
  3. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the fuel injector housing/case.
    • If not the specified value, replace the fuel injector.
