Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front grill assembly. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement (Z71) , Fascia Grille Replacement (Escalade) , Fascia Grille Replacement (GMC Denali XL) , Fascia Grille Replacement (Suburban, Tahoe) , Fascia Grille Replacement (GMC Yukon Hybrid 2 Mode) , Fascia Grille Replacement (Yukon) .
  2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  4. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler bolts (1) and push pins (2).
  5. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler from the vehicle.
