Preliminary Procedure

| 1 | Transfer Case Actuator Cam Retaining Ring TIP: Inspect the ring for wear or damage. |
| 2 | Transfer Case Actuator Cam Spacer TIP: Inspect the spacer for wear or damage. |
| 3 | Transfer Case Actuator Cam TIP: Inspect the cam for wear on the roller surface and damage to the splines. Witness marks on the splines are normal. |
| 4 | Transfer Case Control Actuator Shaft TIP: Inspect the shaft splines for excessive wear. The component must be replaced if damage is found. |
