Conditions for Setting the DTC

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2011 GMC Yukon, 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2011 Cadillac Escalade. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

P0ADB

The drive motor generator battery control module compares the contactor control circuit to the drive motor generator battery control modules internal 12 V measurement reference circuit. This DTC sets when the contactor control circuit voltage is 2 V less than the drive motor generator battery control module internal voltage reference when the high voltage positive contactor is commanded closed.

P0ADC

The drive motor generator battery control module compares the contactor control circuit to the drive motor generator battery control modules internal 12 V measurement reference circuit. This DTC sets when the contactor control circuit voltage and the drive motor generator battery control modules internal voltage reference are within 2 V of each other when the high voltage positive contactor is commanded open.
