Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  2. Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
  3. Remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
  4. Fig 1: Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose

  5. Disconnect the power brake booster inlet hose from the power steering pump (3).
  6. Disconnect the power brake booster inlet hose (1) from the power brake booster (2).
  7. Remove the power brake booster inlet hose (1) from the vehicle.
